In prep of some pretty cool trips we have planned for 2025, I want to improve my urban sketching skills. So, inspired by gingerbread houses, I grabbed pictures of family/friends houses (crazy what you can find in public domain, either on Google or Zillow)…then I added some sparkle deco. As I got into it, I started worrying that people would think I’m creepy… We’ll see if (1) anyone recognizes their house and (2) if I am perceived as creepy.

Sharing a couple of my favs, showcasing Sutton Place in NYC, adobe style in AZ, ultra modern in FL, and many nestled in the fir trees of Seattle.

All that work and I really just like the little chickadee the best. My Hawaiian surfer-girl looks stubby…but he’ll get the reference.
