While trying to be patient in the early days of selling my house in Hawaii in a buyers market (🫤), I busied myself by making this year’s holiday cards. I tried to simplify the process by drawing easy doodles and also using a limited palette. It’s a little strange to be done making my xmas cards by mid-June, but here we are. The biggest challenge will be to put the cards in a place to remember. I’m scheduling this blog to post in November so it’s relevant.
Some inspirations here: Aunt Dottie’s Connecticut farm (Sheep and rams) and my fav go-to xmas doodles including mouse, gnome, bird, snowman. All cards are individually embossed using a Sizzix Big Shot.
Sparkles are always fun

Sewing is fun too!
I’ve been wanting to try adding some fun thread design to the cards. For just a few of them I finally made the time to do it…worked really well and I’ll send these to my quilting friends!
