Practice
Inga Smith is a traveling nature artist whose work is inspired by direct field observation, local traditions, and the ecosystems she explores. Through watercolor, mixed media, and field sketchbooks, she documents plants, insects, and wildlife while interpreting their histories and the ecological relationships that shape the landscapes she visits.
Her work combines natural history illustration, field-based drawing, and research-informed writing. Through both art and teaching, she seeks to deepen public connection to the natural world and highlight the importance of conservation.
